Missions Statement
In forming this association, my aim is to assemble a energetic, fun, semi-professional, eclectic (and probably eccentric) group of artists/writers/photographers/SCUBA
divers/underwater photographers/videographers/compute
r programmers/boat captains, naturalists, philanthropists, and others to work on films, books, exhibits, and other projects that relate to the underwater and coastal worlds.
That is to say, I would like a group of dynamic individuals with varied talents to come …
Hi! It's time for Boston to have a fishing group. New England has the best seafood on the East Coast, and there are SO many avid fishermen and fisherwomen (fisherpeople) in the area. We just don't know about each other! Fishing enthusiasts have many reasons to band together and go in a group. 1. Share resources- if members go together, they can save on equipment, bait, boats, carpooling, lures, and more! 2. Share knowledge- What are "busting fish?" What are "slicks?" It is highly recommended that each person participating in an event bring a spare set of clothes in a waterproof bag, as well as water, snack, sunscreen and insect repellent. For most trips, on-site …

This group is intended for young professionals living on the South Shore. I started this group because I moved to the area from the Midwest and have struggled to find social outlets that don't involve driving into Boston. While the city is great, I know there are many local young people in the same boat.
Meetup details are available only to members.

This meetup focuses on exploring and creating tools which support powerful learning and teaching experiences. Part of each get-together will be dedicated to discussion and presentations, but the focus will be collaborative studio time for people interested in discussing and working on personal projects or proofs-of-concept, whether that's as simple as gluing together existing online services for homeschooling needs or building your own demos or making your own educational tools. Really, this …
